1855: Lu Trinittu

Railroading in the Papal State’s Marches from 1855 through Italian Unification and into World War II. An opening auction assigns Papal and Episcopal Concessions, Minor Companies, and Privates with powers that change after unification. During the Papal Phase, players build track, operate Minor Companies, manage funds, and judge when to trigger the formation of the national Strade Ferrate Romane. After unification, the game follows a standard 18xx structure with loans, variable interest, government bonds, company acquisitions, mergers, destinations, and historical events. Geese serve as auction tokens and bribery material.
