Players continue the sci-fi deck-building adventure as resistance operatives trying to foil a new doomsday scheme by an evil cyborg. The expansion adds modular board pieces, new adventure cards, large scheme cards that alter objectives, and a boss marker that represents a powerful antagonist. Gameplay integrates with the base game: players modify their decks, explore added map modules, pursue altered mission goals set by the scheme cards, and contend with heightened threats while acquiring treasure and upgrades.
