Fool's Gold

Bid to send prospectors into mountains, forests, rivers, and other locations during the 1849 gold rush. Place prospectors and dice along mine paths to compete for gold, gems, and additional funds, while weather and other events affect what each mine yields. Across five years, gold becomes harder to find as valuable cards leave the location decks and silt takes their place. Collect gold from different mines and assemble a gem collection, but beware: the mine where the most gold is found contains fool’s gold and scores nothing.

Worker Placement game with dices and Press Your Luck mechanics. It's a funny Eurogame, pretty nice to play, that has some clever mechanics that make easy for the players to get into the Gold Fever Age ambient. Unique game with awesome artwork.
