Players maneuver politicians through the Soviet Politburo and ministries to control the Communist Party. Each round features secret allocation of influence, KGB trials and Defense Ministry investigations that can send rivals to Siberia, exile, or the grave, plus a Health phase where aging and sickness remove or sideline officials. Leaders shift people between posts as power changes, ministers act only over subordinates, and intrigue cards introduce special events and manipulations. The game ends after up to ten turns or when a faction’s Party Chief achieves repeated successful May Day waves or eliminates enough rivals to seize total control. This edition includes three rule variants that alter era, violence, and exile mechanics.
