A dimensional gate unleashes Chaos monsters, and hunters must defeat them and recover the artefacts needed to close it. Players use weapon cards in their supply or attack areas, making ammunition available to others or loading their own weapons to fight monsters. Players can weaken monsters for others to finish or defeat bosses directly to claim their artefacts. The game ends when all artefacts are collected or after ten turns, with victory determined by defeated monsters and ammunition supplied to fellow hunters.
