Adds mythological beings and new mechanics to the base game during the opening Age. For the first three rounds of Age 1 a second tavern supplies Aesir (gods), Valkyries, Giants, and Mythical Animals, and an extra round is inserted into the draft. When recruited, gods enter a command zone with a single power token that can be spent to trigger the god’s ability. Giants go to the command zone and place capture tokens that allow players to seize a dwarf of a matching class. Valkyries sit in the command zone with a strength token that moves down as players fulfill their requirements and scores points at game end. Mythical animals join the army in a class and grant individual special abilities.
