The Incredibles: Save the Day Game

Los jugadores asumen los papeles de la familia Parr mientras protegen Metroville de una serie de problemas. Se revelan tres cartas de problemas, y las áreas recortadas del tablero muestran si cada uno requiere velocidad, agilidad, defensa o fuerza. En cada turno, los jugadores tiran los dados para moverse, revelan cartas cuando aparece la alarma y se enfrentan a nuevos problemas, obstáculos o la ayuda de Frozone y Edna Moda. Los jugadores tiran los dados para usar la habilidad requerida y resolver los problemas, mientras siguen la pista de Jack-Jack, que se teletransporta por la ciudad. My two 5 year olds had a fantastic time with this game. You run around the city board doing a roll-and move thing, but at least you have multiple paths to choose from, and at times paths will close off. When you arrive at a trouble spot you roll your die, or maybe the 'jack jack' die if anyone has managed to get his special die off the board, and hope to get a matching symbol to clear the disaster tile. Each character has a particular die that's better at one type of symbol. You win if you clear all the disasters before they push off the conveyor belt at the bottom of the board. The only thing I'd like to see improved is to have some sort of epic final confrontation, because the game does end with a whimper. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment
