Trails

Players hike along a linear trail across iconic U.S. sites and national parks, collecting resources, taking photos, and observing wildlife to gain bonuses and points. Movement alternates direction: players travel from trailhead to trail end, turn in rocks, acorns, and leaves for wilderness badges, then head back the other way. Sites along the trail provide actions that change when the sun sets, offering stronger effects but limited duration. The game ends after the final sunset round; scoring combines badges, photographs, and bird sightings to determine the winner.
