You must have your Viscount on a space with one of your previously constructed Buildings that matches the Public Building type and pay its cost, then remove your Building and place the Public Building (resolving its immediate effect); effects that grant a free Building cannot be used to construct a Public Building. (page 5)

Chest Tiles trigger only when a card is played into the first space or slid into the second or third space during Card Management; benefits are not gained when cards are moved by a Rearrange effect. (page 6)

When you gain a Chest Tile you must slot it under one of the three card spaces on your Player Board, and you may discard a previously acquired Chest Tile (removing it from the game) to make room for a new one. Also, whenever a Chest Tile is collected it is immediately replaced from the Chest Draw Pile. (page 6)

Chest Tiles only care about printed Icons on cards in their spaces and do not affect Icons generated from card abilities; each Icon converted can be used only once during a primary action and conversion is optional. (page 7)

Gaining one of the three faceup Hero Townsfolk Cards is always a free action, does not require any Silver, and is not considered a hire (it also is immediately replaced from the Hero Draw Pile). (page 4)

If a Hero Townsfolk card with the removal symbol drops off your Player Board, it is removed from the game entirely after all other bottom-row effects on that card have been resolved. (page 4)
