Six small plastic cars race around a wide oval track with two narrow curves that create a one-lane bottleneck and an outer passing lane that costs extra movement and cannot be used to end a turn. Players bid in an auction to acquire one or more cars, then play cards from hand to spend movement points: each card lists moves for specific cars and resolves in order, so players steer the pack, block opponents, or attempt risky passes. Payouts depend on finishing positions and the game is typically played over three races, with most money after all races determining the winner.
