Fog of Love

Due giocatori creano e interpretano ciascuno un personaggio che si incontra, si innamora e prova a far funzionare una relazione. Il gioco si sviluppa come una commedia romantica: scene, eventi e spunti spingono i personaggi in situazioni imbarazzanti, decisioni emotive e momenti divertenti. I giocatori inseguono obiettivi e tratti personali che possono andare d’accordo o entrare in conflitto, scelgono come reagire alle sfide e possono provare a cambiare o nascondere aspetti dei loro personaggi. Gli esiti dipendono dalle scelte e dall’interazione, non dalla fortuna nascosta, dando vita a una conclusione guidata dalla narrazione e alla storia finale della relazione.

Amazing game, being completely different to any other thing I've ever played. A romantic relationship simulator which does an incredible job, creating games that are small, fictional relationships on their own. PROS - Amazing simulations. In every game, you start just gradually knowing each other, getting to discover their personality and goals step by step. Then, you can start seriously working in your relationship with all that knowledge. - Huge replayability. The game comes with different packs that are supposed to be opened one by one, gradually increasing its complexity. The total number of cards is quite high. - Top-notch production (I have the KickStarter version). - Superb graphic design. - It allows the players to recreate homosexual/homoromantic relationships. CONS - The game relies on roleplaying. If one of the players cannot do it, or separate their characters from themselves, the game isn't gonna show its potential. - Two players only. There's no possibility to recreate non-monogamous relationships.
