Guards of Atlantis II

Gioco arena a squadre e senza fortuna, ispirato ai videogiochi MOBA. Ogni giocatore controlla un singolo eroe usando una mano di carte per muoversi, attivare abilità e attaccare; le azioni si risolvono tramite le carte, senza dadi. Sconfiggere i minion nemici fa guadagnare monete, con cui acquistare livelli e potenziamenti per gli eroi, mentre ondate di minion autonomi avanzano verso le basi avversarie. I giocatori collaborano all'interno delle squadre per gestire corsie, ritmo e obiettivi, cercando di scortare i propri minion fino alla base nemica e conquistarla. Questa edizione rinnova i contenuti con molti nuovi eroi e un tabellone a due facce, oltre a snellire le regole per partite più rapide e serrate.

I originally really liked this game (as in an 8/10 rating), but with more plays it has soured a bit on me. Mostly because of how group dependent it is. The game is fun as long as the turns go quick. I have played with players who tries to hard calculate what enemies can do, what is the perfect spot to place their hero according to the board state and what cards everyone on the table have in their hands, and this makes the whole experience awful. I strongly suggest playing with an alarm that the player cant see, where the players who havent played a card when it goes off will need to discard a random card. Use the same alarm during action execution where you can't do the actions on your card if the alarm goes off.

Played tabletopia version and it's exactly what I was looking for in a moba style game. Love the no dice also Kickstarted - all in --- Received KS. played multiple times. 10/10 great game
