Pericles: The Peloponnesian Wars

Four players represent two rival factions from each Greek city-state and alternate between political and military struggles across the later 5th century BC. Play divides into Political Phases, where faction leaders compete against their counterpart within the same city-state, and War Phases, where the two city-states oppose each other as allied teams. Players deploy forces, conduct campaigns, and pursue political maneuvers to gain Honor for their city-state and for their individual faction. Multiple scenarios cover short skirmishes up to decades-long campaigns, with options for 2–4 players and solitaire play, and the winning city-state is the one with the most Honor while the top-scoring faction on that side wins the game.
