Players act as investors and company presidents in 19th-century Netherlands, buying shares and directing railway companies to increase their value. Gameplay alternates between stock-market actions and operating rounds: players buy and sell shares, take control of companies, lay track and build stations on a map of the Netherlands, and purchase trains to run revenue-generating routes. Company presidents decide routes and payouts, while investors influence market price through share transactions.
