Stronghold

Players reenact a siege with one side defending a castle and the other assaulting it. The board shows the stronghold and surrounding terrain where attackers mass and advance toward the walls. Defenders manage a limited garrison, repair fortifications, build cannons and train troops while earning points each turn for holding out. Attackers field virtually unlimited forces, construct war machines, equip and train units, and employ dark rituals to breach the defenses as quickly as possible. Turns resolve repeated skirmishes and asymmetric actions until the castle falls or the defenders survive long enough to score victory.

Los orcos sitian a los humanos y les asaltan en su castillo. En el juego todas las mecánicas funcionan perfectamente, aunque los humanos lo tienen muy fácil porque toda la información Es conocida y exacta y convierte el juego en un ejercicio matemático. Y sinceramente llevar a los orcos y andar haciendo cuentas constantes para ver si asaltas el castillo no es nada divertido. Orcos sin azar, ¡pero esto que es!

Getting through the confusing rules is the first hurdle you must take when you want to play this game. Then you must work out how you can possibly win as the invader. After that I think there's a pretty nice game in there.
