Players take on the role of caravan leaders transporting camels loaded with goods from a starting point toward a final oasis. The game cycles between daytime movement, when players reposition camels and share partial clues, and night, when thieves attack any caravan settled at an oasis and steal goods. Each player holds a unique clue set and only learns a subset of the total information; players infer missing clues from others’ actions to predict thefts and rearrange camels to protect valuable cargo. The winner is the trader whose remaining goods have the highest value upon arrival at the final oasis.
