Players either direct the story as Gamemaster or play designated characters, using character cards and narrative prompts to resolve scenes. Gameplay mixes role-playing with board-game scaffolding: dice determine outcomes in combat and risky actions while scenario notes and episode structure guide pacing and plot development. Sessions focus on sensitive investigations and delicate operations against a backdrop of multinational power and commonplace nanotechnology.
