Microlonies

An asymmetric strategy game where each player controls a unique ant species seeking to expand and preserve its colony. Players deploy ants across a modular map of hunting grounds, strategic areas, environmental bonuses, and a contested central termite mound. Each of the 16 species has distinct rules, strengths, limitations, and objectives. Players claim territory, gather food, adapt to rival colonies, and pursue species-specific goals. The termite mound provides powerful advantages but increases the need to feed a growing population, making expansion and resource management closely linked.
