Investigators return to a rural New England town to unravel a decades-old mystery after several professors vanish under suspicious circumstances. Players follow a linked campaign of scenarios that moves between locations such as the university, seedy clubs, and the town itself, resolving story beats and branching outcomes over multiple sessions. The box adds new investigators, a large set of player cards for deckbuilding, encounter cards representing cultists, bad luck, hexes, and supernatural monsters, and campaign components that track campaign state and investigator progression.
