두 팀이 각각 잠수함 한 척씩을 조종해, 물 아래에서 상대 함선을 찾아내고 격침시키기 위해 경쟁하는 게임입니다. 플레이어들은 맡은 역할—함장, 무전수, 기관사(그리고 인원이 더 많을 경우 일등항해사)—에 따라 이동, 탐지, 무장 준비를 함께 조율합니다. 무전수는 적의 움직임을 해독하고, 기관사는 어뢰와 장비를 재장전하며, 함장은 기동을 계획하고 선언합니다. 긴장감 넘치는 협동을 위해 동시에 실시간으로 플레이할 수도 있고, 좀 더 느긋한 분위기를 원하면 차례대로 진행할 수도 있습니다. 여러 맵이 전술 선택지를 바꾸며, 전투가 일어나면 공격을 처리하기 위해 잠깐 멈췄다가 다시 진행됩니다.

Jouer à 8 avec tonton et les cousins, (adultes), c'est possible. Le touché coulé revisité avec plaisir, plein de beau matériel (la boîte est bien lestée...). Une version family qu'on ne connaît pas existe, des scénarios aussi, bref si les jeux en immersion vous disent, vous ne serez pas déçus. Prévoir une ou deux parties pour apprivoiser les persos donc à recommander si vous jouez souvent avec le même groupe de joueurs.

How should the Captain announce our movement (what do I say/write)?
The Captain announces a course (direction) and propulsion/speed using the standard course notation and examples; the Radio Operator records and confirms these announcements—see the course announcement examples and blackout/advice (p.2).
Can I change a course after I've announced it or mid-move?
You cannot retroactively change moves that have already been executed; you may alter your future route only by using the confirmation/route reset procedures described for turn-by-turn and real-time play (pp.2, 5).
What exactly can the Engineer repair and how do the gauges work?
The Engineer manages the system gauges, tracks damage and breakdowns, and spends repair actions to remove damage or repair the reactor and self-repair according to the damage-resolution and repair rules (pp.3–4).
When and how can we fire torpedoes or deploy mines?
Launching torpedoes and dropping/triggering mines are system activations governed by the weapons/mines rules; the procedures, activation requirements and examples are given in the torpedo and mine section (p.6).
What happens when we surface—what does surfacing do and what can it repair?
Surfacing is a special action with its own procedure that permits specific repairs and interacts with reactor repair; consult the surfacing and repair rules for the exact steps and effects (pp.5, 4).
