Players take the role of 15th-century printers who fill orders to build wealth and reputation. Through auction-style bidding for actions and a rotating-gear engine, players expand their workshops, acquire type, inks and decorations, and recruit patrons to increase production capacity. Gameplay runs six rounds, during which combining bonuses and managing resources yields points; the highest-scoring printer wins.
