Brazil: Imperial
Players take the role of monarchs building an empire across modular map regions that recreate real territories. The game mixes worker placement, area majority and asymmetric player powers as players construct buildings, manage resources, recruit armies, and acquire famous personalities to gain special abilities and points. Each round offers action and movement phases: choose actions like deploying troops, buying personality cards, building or renovating structures, manufacturing and trading basic goods, or using the harbor. Movement allows exploration of hidden sites and combat with rivals, resolved by comparing troop strength and card effects. Completing era-specific objectives advances players into later eras and triggers the endgame scoring.

Garfield2,0 Didn't like it at all. 1 round to get 1-2 wood, 1 round to spend it, then repeat these steps again and again. Quite boring. Way better than Scythe at being Scythe. Art is not as good but the game itself is better in almost everything else

Regelvragen
Beantwoord vanuit het spelregelboek door de regelassistent van Ludoya.
Can I choose the same action on two consecutive turns?
No. You must move your current Action token to a different Action Arch, so you cannot perform the same action two turns in a row with that token. (Rulebook, p. 9)
Do I get to move after taking my action?
Yes. After your Action Phase, you may make one free movement with a Military Unit already on the map. Your chosen Action Arch may also provide an additional movement, which can happen before or after the free movement. (Rulebook, pp. 5, 9, 11)
Do buildings produce resources every turn?
No. A Building produces when it is built or renovated, but it does not produce again unless you use Renovate or gain another effect that increases production. Resources and Assets on a Building cannot be moved to or from your personal supply. (Rulebook, pp. 10–12)
Where can I build a City?
A City must be placed on the hex occupied by your Monarch Unit, and it cannot be adjacent to an opponent’s Building, City, or Capital. It does not need to be adjacent to your own Empire, but you cannot place it on a hex occupied by an enemy Military Unit. (Rulebook, p. 10)
What happens if combat ends in a tie?
The Defender wins ties. Combat occurs during the Movement Phase, and the player with the highest total Combat Strength wins after all applicable cards and modifiers are resolved. (Rulebook, p. 18)
When does the game end after someone completes an Era III Mission?
The current round is completed, and then the game ends. All players take the same number of turns; the final round ends when the player to the right of the player with the 1st Player tile finishes their Movement Phase. (Rulebook, p. 21)
