Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game

Players cooperate as a band of adventurers cleansing a cursed manor and its surrounding lands of undead, beasts and eldritch horrors before confronting the source of the corruption in the Darkest Dungeon. The game plays as a campaign of linked missions. Each hero chooses a small set of skills and adopts different stances in rooms to resolve conflicts; on a turn a player takes two actions from moving, interacting, changing stance or using a stance-eligible skill. Heroes gain experience, suffer physical damage and stress that can lead to permanent consequences, and return to the hamlet between missions to recover, upgrade facilities and prepare for the next threat level.
