Defenders of the Realm

Heróis convocados pelo Rei se unem para proteger o reino de quatro facções invasoras: orcs, dragões, mortos-vivos e demônios. Cada jogador assume o papel de um Campeão com habilidades únicas e coopera para viajar pelo interior, enfrentar as forças inimigas, purificar terras corrompidas e impedir que os exércitos inimigos cheguem à cidade. A jogabilidade combina ações baseadas em cartas, poderes dos personagens e posicionamento estratégico enquanto hordas inimigas avançam de várias direções. Os jogadores precisam coordenar ataques, gerenciar recursos e seguir diferentes caminhos para derrotar os generais invasores antes que a cidade caia.

Super Fantasy Pandemic with dice! Even though it takes a while to play, people always seems to walk away with an epic story against the forces of evil... even if they lose (which usually happens). Even better with expansions (more choice, quests, modules to add and adventure) as those increase the different ways to play beyond counting (though don't add them all in at the same time) Hands down the best and most immersive non-card cooperative game in my opinion. Bonus: Wife likes it too! Can't wait to play it with my children so they can experience this world of adventure!

Played a prototype version. Add the awesome artwork and this is going to be one of the most popular cooperative games ever. I'm still amazed at how different all the characters feel.
