Disney Villainous: Perfectly Wretched

Three iconic antagonists vie to achieve their own sinister objectives using asymmetric decks and player boards. Each player controls a villain with a unique deck, fate deck, board and 3D figure, moves between locations on their board, and takes the actions shown there—often by playing ally, item, effect, and condition cards—then refills their hand to four. Players pursue individual win conditions tied to their character while other players can interfere by drawing from a villain’s fate deck and playing disruptive cards onto that villain’s board. The game functions as a standalone experience and integrates with other entries in the same series for mixed-match play.

Dúvidas de regras

Respondidas a partir do manual pelo assistente de regras da Ludoya.

If my Villain Guide says one thing but a card says another, which do I follow?

Card text takes precedence over the Villain Guide; follow the card if there’s a conflict. (p. 10)

Is there a hand limit?

No — there is no limit to the number of cards in your hand, but you only draw at the end of your turn to bring your hand up to four. (pp. 4, 10)

How does the Fate action work — what happens when I play Fate on another player?

When you take a Fate action you reveal two cards from that opponent’s Fate deck, choose one to play to their Realm and discard the other; Fate Heroes are played to the top of a location and cover its actions. If a revealed Fate card cannot be played it must be discarded and you do not reveal replacements. (pp. 6–7, 10)

How do I defeat (vanquish) a Hero?

Perform the Vanquish action using one or more Allies at the Hero’s location whose combined Strength (including modifiers) equals or exceeds the Hero’s, then discard the used Ally/Allies to your Villain discard and the Hero to the Fate discard. (pp. 6–7)

When can I play a Condition card — can I wait and play it later in the turn after the trigger happened?

A Condition must be played immediately when its requirement is met during an opponent’s turn; you may not wait until later in that turn, though playing the Condition is optional. (pp. 8, 10)

Can I use an Activated Ability the same turn I play the card?

No — Activated Abilities must be used by taking the Activate action and paying any Activation Cost each time you use them, so you cannot resolve an Activated Ability as part of the Play a Card action. (pp. 4, 8)
