I'm a big fan of Gloomhaven and played the whole campaign. But Forgotten Circles has some problems I hope they don't carry over to Frosthaven. Firstly I didn't liked that you are forced to play the diviner in all the scenarios. I didn't enjoy playing her so much and didn't want to play here for 20 scenarios. In my gaming group her special power of shuffling through the enemy modifier Deck was also completely useless because the other two players just killed everything almost immediately (moon and mind thief) so it felt the diviner didn't have much useful abilities. Secondly the setup of new rooms during the gaming session because of the different sections in the book is really annoying. It interrupts the game flow and you have to spend 10 minutes to search for a million different small tiles that have different prints on the front and back side. Or you have to place a dozen numbered tokens (also with different numbers or letters on it) and we always happened not to have all required tokens. It's just fiddly and annoying without adding much to the game.
