Take a Seat

Players run competing premieres and try to attract and seat audiences in the best locations of a theater. Each round players choose between using an usher’s ability or taking points, then mark a reservation by scratching one of four tickets on a reservation panel and assign seats by filling outlines and circles on their theater board. The game uses a Share & Write mechanic where the randomness comes from player choices rather than dice or cards. Play lasts 14 turns; final scoring combines objective cards, reservation majorities and usher bonuses to determine the winner.
