Players compete to win the throne by recruiting followers and securing the votes of five rival factions. The game unfolds in two phases: first, players draft and play cards to recruit followers; then they deploy those followers to contest control of each faction, where majority determines the winner of that faction’s vote. Each faction grants a unique power that can alter play, and those powers may differ between the two phases. The edition includes additional ghost-role elements that introduce new interactions and uncertainties during resolution.
