Players act as acolytes in a temple who perform tasks, collect materials, and create or sell completed Works for visitors. Each card is multi-purpose and can serve as a task, a material, or a completed Work; choosing a task enables actions that opponents may follow on their turns. Players combine Works’ special abilities and manage which materials to sell while planning to maximize efficiency and avoid waste.

This game isn't bad per-se but I did feel like it didn't hold up to other games by the same designer. In particular Innovation, but also Glory to Rome. It's not bad in a pinch, but if you can get your hands on those other games I'd do so. We found the scoring method to be needlessly confusing, but that could be inexperience in a somewhat cumbersome system. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ☆ Clever or interesting mechanisms ☆ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★☆☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
