Players create adventurers, develop their abilities and undertake quests involving exploration, combat, magic and encounters with fantastical creatures. One player acts as the referee, describing the setting and controlling its inhabitants while the others decide how their characters respond. This revised edition updates the original rules and includes new material and illustrations.
