Players take the roles of adventurers seeking a payoff after uncovering a rare Nazmec Tablet. They travel to the Tor system, where the Council of Churches provides sanctuary for a dangerous trade in ancient artefacts. The adventure revolves around negotiations, bidding, political intrigue, and shifting alliances. Agents use money, unusual tactics, and shady deals to compete for the tablet, while ancient secrets, betrayal, and deadly consequences threaten to change the outcome.
