Apotheosis

A science-fiction adventure sends the characters to a forbidden world ruled by strict religious authorities. Hired to rescue a child believed to have survived a pirate attack, they must breach the planet’s interdiction and investigate a dangerous society built around a possible messianic figure. Deception, danger, and a deeper mystery await as they uncover the truth about the child and the world’s other possible visitors. The scenario is designed for Cepheus Engine and other 2D6-based science-fiction roleplaying games, and accommodates characters from varied career backgrounds.
