Ars Lingua
This rules supplement expands language use in fantasy roleplaying, adding distinctions between speaking, reading, and writing languages as well as dialects, accents, slang, sign language, codes, and pheromonal communication. It introduces new skills, 19 feats, 14 language-focused spells, updated existing spells, magic items, and two prestige classes. The rules are designed to add detail to linguistic interactions while remaining practical for play.
