Assault on the Crucible

While recovering in the liberated sun-city of Kahlannal, the heroes face an efreet assault on the Burning Archipelago. Using technology supplied by their anassanoi allies, they infiltrate the efreeti base known as the Crucible and work to return the Far Portal to the sun’s surface. Efreeti forces defend the installation, led by General Khaim, whose plan threatens to dominate the archipelago and destroy the intruders.
