Bad Beginnings: Alpha
An introductory adventure for 4–6 characters in the Splintered Serenity setting. Players answer an unusual call, travel to a strange location known as the Crossroads, question a lonely Klik Crucible for information, and take part in a chaotic combat encounter during an Anomaly Extraction. The adventure uses Untold’s card-based mechanics and forms the first part of a linear story that can be followed by later sections or interspersed with other adventures. A Game Master requires the supporting adventure deck, while players need characters from the Starter Set or characters built from their own decks.
