Barbarians: The Invasion
Players take the role of a barbarian warchief vying to expand their clan across a wild fantasy world ruled by decadent civilizations and ancient powers. The game uses worker placement on a rotating 3D volcano: place champions to gather resources, construct buildings, pray to gods or summon demons for temporary magical effects, and recruit and sustain armies. Area-control on a regional map and economic engine-building determine the ability to field forces and conquer territories. Clans pursue the same objectives rather than resolving direct player-to-player combat; victory goes to the player who accumulates the most points through territory, buildings, and strategic use of divine and demonic powers.

Garfield2.0 For a game with the title 'Barbarians' I expected something with more fights and interactions. But the only interaction is on the action selection rondel (which is a very nice idea). But I think there is way too much luck involved in the fights. It happened a lot that some players drawn cards with 1 symbol or exactly the symbols they needed to get some bonus. Icons are horrible, you can't tell them apart, too small, colors too similar...
