Best Ever: An Eighth World Adventure
An April Fools crossover adventure combines the worlds of BattleTech and Shadowrun in a tournament to determine the best warrior of all time. The remaining competitors include an immortal elf MechWarrior, a blood mage, a time-traveling refugee, and a charismatic battlefield commander. The book includes a summary of the new Eighth World setting, nine character archetypes, and a roleplaying adventure centered on the Best Ever Tournament. It is primarily compatible with Shadowrun, Fourth Edition, with elements of the Classic BattleTech Role Playing Game and newly invented rules requiring some improvisation.
