A brutal, supernatural pirate tabletop roleplaying game set in the late 17th-century Caribbean. Players create pirate characters, explore detailed ports such as Havana and Port Royal, pursue treasure, and face dangers through scenarios or sandbox play. The SHAMUS system includes ship-to-ship combat that emphasizes roleplaying and ingenuity, along with rules for Voodoo magic, pirate havens, lore sheets, and extended campaign hooks. The book includes three or more full-length scenarios and over ten pregenerated characters.
