Set in the northern Sheldomar Valley, the game centers on Bissel, a march governed by a Margrave, 26 knight-barons, and the mayors of nine townships. Players pursue their factions’ interests, build support among the ruling council, and influence decisions affecting the territory. The Margrave issues decrees, but the barons’ votes determine whether those decisions carry weight, while succession rules shape changes in leadership.
