Black Rain
A high-level fantasy adventure centers on a temple of St. Cuthbert besieged during a supernatural black rain. The rain severs the connection between the mortal and divine worlds, preventing clerics from casting divine spells, channeling energy, or using many divine abilities while suppressing existing divine effects. Players investigate a revenge plot led by a disgraced former cleric who has gathered evil artifacts and commands monsters, then find a way through a magical barrier to aid the temple’s weakened defenders.
