Set in the early 19th-century religious revival of western and central New York, the game explores the region known as the “burned-over district.” Players navigate a period of emerging religions, spiritualist traditions, and socialist utopian experiments, building influence as charismatic leaders, devoted disciples, or opportunistic con artists.
