Chert's Gate: An Adventure
A fantasy adventure centered on Chert, an ill-tempered troll who has destroyed a roadhouse, eaten its occupants, and dragged a tree across the King’s Road to create a toll gate. Characters must deal with the troll and find a way past the improvised bridge. Designed for low-level characters, the encounter can become deadly through poor decisions and works as a standalone evening’s adventure or part of a larger campaign in any game system.
