A minimalist roleplaying game of cosmic horror, in which investigators uncover occult mysteries and confront truths that should have remained hidden. The rules focus on Saves to resist danger and Resources that diminish throughout an investigation, while the story continues to provide the clues needed to move forward—at a cost. The book includes character creation rules, ready-to-use archetypes, human and Mythos adversaries, spells, and guidance for the Game Master. A complete three-scenario campaign set in 1920s Italy, along with five pre-generated investigators, is included.
