A system-neutral collection of tables and short essays for creating magic items in dark fantasy settings. It covers appearances, powers, and mechanics for weapons, armor, rings, potions, and other artifacts, with themes of flawed heroes, corrupting magic, ominous ruins, and damned wastelands. The material can generate items for roleplaying games, stories, or comics. Most content works with any system, while some entries reference familiar RPG mechanics such as abilities, hit points, and saving throws.
