Darkest Dungeon
A party of adventurers enters a ruined estate and the dungeons beneath it, seeking to uncover the source of its corruption. Players assemble teams with distinct classes, explore branching locations, and resolve battles against monsters using tactical card-driven combat. Between expeditions, the party returns to town to recover, manage stress and afflictions, recruit replacements, and improve facilities. Heroes gain abilities and suffer lasting consequences as the campaign progresses, while limited resources and permanent death shape each decision.
