Eastern Front
A rules-light roleplaying game set among desperate Russian soldiers during the Second World War. Characters are defined by four attributes—Cold, Spirit, Aptitude, and Armor—rated from 3 to 19. Players resolve actions by rolling a twenty-sided die; modified rolls higher than the relevant attribute fail. The attributes represent callousness, willingness to sacrifice others, extraordinary effort, technical skill, and physical health.
