In the aftermath of an interstellar war, disabled navigation beacons leave travelers stranded on Vanth, a medieval world where the inhabitants mistake spaceships and technology for divine magic. The isolated starport of God City has become a fantasy metropolis inhabited by both locals and stranded spacefarers. Players form adventuring parties from wizards, warriors, star-soldiers, and space merchants. They explore the planet, navigate the clash between science fiction and fantasy, and seek allies and opportunities in a galaxy cut off from the old routes.
