Fishing
Players work as fishermen in coastal communities, learning fishing methods and using the equipment needed to catch and preserve fish. Most depend on maritime skills and shares of the catch rather than owning boats, in a dangerous trade with sparse rewards. The sea also provides valuable materials such as whale oil, mother of pearl, and ambergris.
