A chance encounter draws the party into a conflict between rival religions when they become responsible for protecting a fugitive prophet and the woman who loves him. The adventure takes 1st–3rd-level characters through a crowded fertility festival and across a dangerous countryside while they evade the law and uncover a darker threat. Inspired by the legends of Saint Valentine and Lupercalia, the scenario combines urban hazards, wilderness travel, and NPC escorts in a land troubled by religious and political turmoil.
