Fantasy skirmish wargame set in a ruined, icebound city where rival wizards and their warbands compete for treasure and lost magic. Players pick a wizard from multiple schools, choose spells from an expanded list, hire diverse followers from thieves to knights, and lead tactical tabletop skirmishes against opponents, wandering monsters, and supernatural hazards. This edition updates and streamlines rules, revises the spell list, and adds new scenarios while remaining compatible with earlier supplements.
